Last year I attended 7 World Cup rounds completely out of my own pocket. It cost £7,000. I made almost nothing back. I did it because I believe XCO mountain biking deserves better coverage - and I was willing to prove it.
This year I want to do it again. But I can't keep self-funding it alone.
